Second Vintage: 2022 Sonoma Coast
Twin Hills Vineyard: Sustainably farmed Pinot Noir grown in light and powdery Goldridge soil — a rare, fine-grained sandy loam, known for its excellent drainage.
At only nine miles from the Pacific Ocean, the climate at Twin Hills Vineyard is influenced by the cooling effect of the Petaluma wind gap and Sebastopol high plains.
Eight barrels were made, only two of which were new French oak.
Wine Enthusiast
This soft and easygoing Pinot delivers a nose of red cherry, raspberry, barrel spice and rose petals, while the palate displays soft tannin, lively orange peel acidity and flavors of berry pie, cinnamon and forest floor. Drink this with a caramelized mushroom tart. — Tom R. Capo, 91 points
